Tag Line


Tag Line

We decided against including a tag line in our promotional package for 'These Hands, If Not Gods'. Tag lines are most often added to films that incorporate comedy or action, neither of which are relevant to our film. Social realism films do not have tag lines as they do not fit with the culturally significant narratives of the genre.We made this decision as we felt it was not appropriate due to the socially sensitive issues that our film covers.

First Poster Draft




This is the first draft of our poster for 'These Hands, If Not Gods'. From receiving feedback, we have decided to make some changes to the poster to improve it. The main change we will make to the poster is moving the title. The title was placed in the center of the poster to make the name obvious. However, it obscures the image behind and covers most of the actor's faces. For this reason we will move the title down closer to the bottom of the page so the image can be seen. We will also add in 'coming soon' as this is a common convention of film posters so audiences know it is a new film.
